Fun fact, did you know that we have complimentary engagement sessions included in our wedding packages? Well if you didn’t, you do now!

We got to hangout with one of our 2024 couples recently and shot their engagement session! We started by having a little hike in the sand hills and then walked around the greenery before we headed to the beach where we popped some champagne and danced with the waves.

Meeting Hannah and Hayden in person was so fun and it’s one of the biggest reasons why we advocate for having a session with your wedding photographers prior to your wedding day. We had chatted with Hannah a bit through Instagram where we discovered we had attended the same church for awhile. She told us how she was going to be getting engaged soon and wanted us to photograph her wedding. When she finally got engaged, she messaged us all the details and we set up a time for their engagement session.

So why is having a session prior important? It’s important because you get to meet your photographers and see what their process is like firsthand. It’s one thing to talk about it but it’s another thing to experience it. Since we got to hangout with Hayden and Hannah ahead of time, we were able to establish a relationship and really make sure that they feel comfortable around us and confident in front of the camera. By the way, there were naturals!
