Couples Photoshoot at the Pensacola Interstate Fair | Austin + Brennah

Austin and Brennah are the type of couple who want to have fun and want photos that reflect that which is why the fair was the perfect choice. We started off the shoot by walking around, scouting out different locations, and seeing what rides we wanted to go on. That, and seeing what different snacks and drinks we wanted to get too. I mean, it’s the fair. You have to get food at the fair! Here’s some candid shots we started off with.
After seeing what was around, we decided to start with a classic: the carousel.
From there, we went on some slides and walked through some of the different house-like setups they had. One had glass mirrors to walk through and then at the top had this cute spinner in the corner. Another one had the spinning cylinder at the front and up top it had some mirrors where we ended up taking a little dance break before sliding back down.
With the sun starting to fall, we decided to make our way to the Ferris wheel. The best part about this ride is that it didn’t go as planned. We originally were going to ride together but then decided to ride separately, sitting next to each other in different carts. Well they ended up sitting us differently opposite of one another. We were all the way on the left while they were all the way on the right. We ended up laughing about it and enjoying our own little selfie time. Logan and I took a very blurry photo of us but we love it!
After our failed attempt of photos on the Ferris wheel, we went swinging. All of us were a little hesitant with getting on the swings solely for the fact that there’s not a lot of protection. You have a bar and some metal holding you up. Honestly, fairs in general are not the safest but they are fun! Not only did we end up going on the swings, we went twice. Twice because the first time we were all shocked at how fast and how high it went. The second time around we felt more comfortable and found ways to take photos without feeling like they’d fly away.
We ended up the session by going to where we started: the carousel. This time around we rode it.
Austin then proceeded to grab some pics of us on his phone!
We said bye to Austin and Brennah at a lemonade stand where we went our separate ways and got some fair food. Mango lemonade, funnel cakes, and candy apples for the win! Here’s some behind the scenes from our epic fair session. We’re already counting down the days for the fair to return!
