SETTING THE MOOD

Right from the get-go we had a vision in mind. Thymian and Alex are life guards at Navarre Beach and first met while on the job. They live and breathe the salt air and emerald waters which was something that they quickly bonded over. We always recommend our couples to choose a location that’s special to them. When a couple is connected to the location, they tend to feel more comfortable off the bat which makes it easier to capture authentic moments. It was never a doubt that Navarre Beach would be our location. With being the big beach people they are, they knew that they wanted to get in the water and get a little sandy in order to get the shots. When it comes to getting good photos, you have to be willing to get down and dirty! We wanted their photos to reflect on their love. We wanted photos that looked and felt like young love. The photoshoot is fun, playful and flirty while also being romantic and intimate. It’s the perfect way to describe them as a couple.

One of the most endearing aspects of a beach photoshoot is the ability to capture candid moments and genuine expressions of love and joy. As the waves crash and the sun dips below the horizon, let your inhibitions go and focus on each other. Take a stroll along the shoreline, share a quiet moment, or engage in a playful water fight – these unscripted interactions result in photographs that encapsulate the raw emotions shared between partners. Something we love to grab with couples while at the beach is something as simple as dipping your toes in the water. The waves are unpredictable and tend to go up higher than you’d think. Seeing the pure joy or shock as the water hits you makes for the perfect unposed photos.
