KIRSTEN + LEWIS

Kirsten and Lewis were expecting their first baby and decided to celebrate their babymoon in the idyllic locale of 30A—truly a slice of paradise, if you ask us! Right off the bat, they knew what they wanted from their photos. They both described wanting some moody, artsy, editorial, bold, film-like photos which we definitely got. We mixed in some golden hour photos and blue hour to make sure we got all the vibes. Their insistence on the beach backdrop was understandable; after all, the beaches along 30A are absolutely stunning! Did you know that 30A is known as the Emerald Coast? The water here, especially at Grayton Beach State Park, is always an emerald green or a pretty blue. We’ve been to a lot of beaches and the ones here are some of our favorites.

We love maternity photoshoots that include both mom and dad! Why? Picture this: mom and dad strolling hand in hand along the sun-kissed shore, the gentle breeze tousling their hair as they steal glances at each other with hearts in their eyes. These candid moments of pure connection are what make maternity sessions so magical. It's not just about posing for the camera; it's about living in the moment and letting your love shine through.

But don't think we're skipping the editorial flair! Oh no, we're bringing out all the stops. Think sweeping shots of Kirsten and Lewis framed against the endless expanse of the ocean, their silhouettes etched against the golden hues of the sunset. Or maybe a close-up shot that focuses on the intricate details of their intertwined fingers, a symbol of the bond that will only grow stronger with the arrival of their little one.

Capturing the love between Kirsten and Lewis was so beautiful, and it's evident that their little babe is already so loved! We encourage our clients to bring props or include anything of significance for some detail shots, and Kirsten absolutely nailed it! She had her nails done in baby blue and wore two necklaces: one with the letter 'A' and another with the name of their baby boy, Amari!
