Engagement Photos at Gaby’s Taqueria and Pensacola Beach

ANGIE + PAVLO

The first thing Angie had messaged us was “We want to book you ASAP!” Right from the get-go, they knew exactly what they wanted for their engagement photos. Angie sent over a Pinterest Board with her vision and we quickly got behind it! Angie and Pavlo were wanting a mix of downtown Pensacola and it’s charm for some classy and fun photos before heading to the beach where we’d get sandy and romantic. Brainstorming together, we had planned on going to a bar for some fun, flash photos but the place we wanted to go to was closed for a private event that day. We pivoted and instead headed to Gaby’s Taqueria which is an outdoor street taco place. The vibe there is so cute with its string lights, white picnic patio tables, and plants. We got Angie and Pavlo some drinks to share during our time there before we headed off to Pensacola Beach for sunset. We had an outfit change and decided it was time to mess around and have some fun. Angie and Pavlo played in the water and chased each other around, showing off their playful love.

Every couple is different from the next and we really love to lean into that when photographing our couples. Angie and Pavlo have that young love to them. It’s full of sweet kisses, giggles, and butterflies. One day you’re in your 20’s playing tag on the beach for your engagement photos and then years down the road you’re still singing and dancing along to the song you chose for your first dance. Photos aren’t just memories, they’re love and history. They’re timeless, just like your love.
