Intimate Wedding at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Michael and Sarah envisioned their wedding day with two words: water and intimate. They had visited Miramar, Florida and stayed at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort while wedding planning and fell in love with the area. Who can blame them? With the crystal blue waters and sand white as snow, it’s the picture perfect spot for a wedding. While they enjoy the beach, the ended up choosing a location on the water to avoid sand. They had their ceremony right around sunset time which made for the prettiest couple photos on the golf course!

One thing we always communicate with our couples about ahead of time is really embracing the day and all that comes with it. We try our best to give our couples a stress-free experience by handling timeline details and helping them throughout the day with staying on time. With that being said, we don’t stress if things fall behind. Truth be told, things tend to fall behind on a wedding day due to all the moving parts.

For Sarah and Michael’s first look, it got delayed by twenty minutes due to traffic. While we could’ve let this part stress us out, we embraced it for what it was and it honestly made for such a sweeter first look. Michael talked about how during those moments of waiting for Sarah, he grew so much more excited to see her. He took some time to sit by the water and was just so thankful for being able to marry her. He had asked us if we could pray with him and it was one of our favorite parts of the day. It’s not something we do often with our couples we really loved it. Once Sarah’s ride had arrived, they had their first look and their love for one another was so evident which you’ll see throughout the photos!
