Intimate Beach Wedding at Grayton Beach in 30A, FL

EMMIE + CREED

Emmie and Creed had the most stunning intimate beach wedding out in 30A! They got married on Grayton Beach during golden hour and had their reception at Chiringo which was where they had their first date. Can it get any more perfect and romantic than that? Well just wait to hear more about their day because the answer is yes, it can get more romantic than that!

I got to hangout with Creed while the girls were finishing up getting ready and we had a really great chat. Our conversation started off with his vows that we took some photos of for his details. I noticed that they looked like they were written on the back of a receipt in which he told me it was a receipt from Chiringos! Like shut up? It’s giving romance novel.

He then proceeded to ask me what my best advice would be going into marriage and also just going into the wedding day. The first thing that popped into my mind was about how at our own wedding we had several things go wrong which created a stressor for us and didn't allow us to be fully present. Logan and I talk about it a lot and how we wish we hadn't let little things get in the way of being present on our wedding day which was exactly what I told Creed. Things aren’t always going to go according to plan and may not meet your expectations but on a day as special as marrying the love of your life, just let it be that. Let the day flow and fully immerse yourself in the day and sometimes the chaos that follows. Take in the all of your friends and family celebrating you and hanging out together. Creed was really grateful for the advice and afterwards we played a round of Fortnite together. Yes, you heard that correct. We play Fortnite and so did the boys so when there was a little bit of time to kill, Fortnite was the way to go.

On to the first look, we set Creed up and got Emmie to come down where they exchanged some kisses and hugs. From there, they stayed by each other’s side for the rest of the day and it was so sweet to see how they wouldn’t leave each other! Before we headed over to the reception, Emmie made an outfit change and they put on their personalized Air Force Nike’s. Why is that relevant? Because their first dance song mentioned dancing in your favorite shoes and it was so cute watching them point them out! Also, during dinner they ate at the same table where they had their first date. They both described how surreal it felt to be there years later, married! Emmie had said, “Who would’ve thought that our first date here would turn into a lifetime of dates?”

We drank some spicy margaritas, ate some good Mexican food, and danced the night away! It was the perfect ending to the most perfect day.
